Over the dark seas,
In the deep taverns,
Under the fading moon,
In a dreamless swoon.
Surrounded by a gloom.
Upon the ailing ship,
Amidst the wailing tombs
Under the fading moon
In a dreamless swoon
All the spirits loom
When nothing is seen
Where nothing has been
Amongst the sea and its creatures
We cry, try to fly.
Cornered by sea myths
And all the sparkling teeth
With spikes under the feet
Barely daring to breathe
As our body bleeds.
When nothing is seen
where nothing has been
Among the sea and its creatures
We cry, try to fly.
As the end approaches
All the lies, woes and why’s
Heaven was on earth,
Hell, is everywhere.
